Fire Awarness Training

Fire Risk Assessments And Staff Fire Awareness Training

We are able to offer professional assistance in the above which will ensure your compliance with the requirements of the Fire (Scotland)

Act 2005 and the 2010 Amendments.

Staff Fire Awareness

The Staff Fire Awareness training is carried out at the customer’s premises and can tailored to suit the customer requirements if so required.

We cover Action on Discovering a Fire, Fire Alarms, Fire Extinguisher types and uses, Fire Prevention and Fire Evacuation.

Each course can take up to 12 persons and is a very cost-effective method of giving the required training to your staff. The time scale is between 45 minutes to one hour depending on participation of attendees. We conclude with discharging water or foam extinguishers and a Carbon Dioxide extinguisher. A certificate is issued for each group attending the training. If you have 12 attending it works out at less than £10 per head.

Fire Risk Assessment

The fire risk assessments are carried out by a member of the Institute of Fire Engineers and the I F E Life safety stream for Fire Risk Assessors.

The Assessor has 23 years experience as a Fire Safety Specialist and was responsible for overseeing the Fire Safety in various large complexes’ including the new HNS Hospital at Larbert. As part of the risk assessment assistance can be given in drawing up your Fire Procedures if you so require. This assessor is independent of Stirling Fire Protection.
